Release 3.8.1 of WordPress is available for download. This is the firs release after v3.8 stable and we recommend upgrading your WordPress installation.

This is a maintenance release that provides fixes to issues and bugs noticed in the previous version

What’s changed in WP v3.8.1

Here are some of the fixed issues:

– many improvements and fixes for new admin panel and themes design

– resolved an issue with taxonomy queries in WP_Query

– bug with submit buttons that won’t do anything when you click on them have been found and fixed.

– a fix for embedding tweets (by placing the URL to the tweet on its own line), which was broken due to a recent Twitter API change.
